I couldnt get more than 5 ft away from my laptop without the mouse losing signal which really makes the fact of a wireless mouse irrelevant. In other words, if your looking for a wireless bundle which you can use at your couch/coffee table while ur computer sits at the entertainment stand, dont buy this...its crap! The receiver failed recently. It took a while to make certain what the problem was and I used different machines and OS's to test. After contacting Logitech, it took 7 days before they acknowledged that the unit was defective and that they would repair or replace. Using their timetable for shipping the unit back to them and waiting for the replacement to come back to me it will have been 3 weeks from failure to replacement.
