Logitech Wireless Combo MK520
This combo is one of our personal favorites. The MK520 by Logitech is a slim, sleek wireless keyboard and mouse with a few cool features that make it stand out from the rest. First of all, it's at a good price point. With a full retail price of $59.99, you know it's not a cheap package that will be cheesy but it's also not super expensive for what are really rather simple devices. The K520 keyboard itself is just plain sexy. With the nice slim keys and glossy black accents it really is a pleasure to look at every day. Now for some reason, we're not really sure why, the M310 mouse that comes in this combo package doesn't exactly match the keyboard. Nevertheless, it has a comfortable slightly-ergonomic shape which makes it a breeze to use for any length of time.
One of the key features of the keyboard is what Logitech calls Incurve keys with softly rounded edges. What this means is that the keys are actually a tiny bit concave which can help position your fingers properly, but we did come across a review of one user who wasn't too fond of this feature. However, we liked it very much and so did dozens of other people whose reviews we read. Battery life is also very long with these devices - Logitech claims up to three years - but if you use it often the batteries will obviously need to be replaced in a shorter period of time. It is still very efficient no matter how long or how often you use it.
Another awesome feature of this model is the Unifying receiver. This USB receiver is so small it is designed to stay in your computer once you plug it in so that you don't have to worry about taking it out. We find this to be very convenient because some models we tested from other brands use receivers that stick out up to an inch and a half. The Unifying receiver connects both the keyboard and the mouse by the way. Overall, we really like this combo, and from our research we can tell you that it's a best-seller online.
